Carving feathers as part of a leather design is something that has become quite popular, particularly on Facebook and other social media sites. In the video associated with this pattern, Jim Linnell teaches a class on carving leather feathers and how to paint them so that they truly look three-dimensional. For this online class, participants came prepared to create these projects right along with Jim. Additionally, Jim discussed how to integrate these feathers into a variety of projects, including leather art and jewelry.
