About This Pattern

For those who have never made a mask, the video associated with this pattern is a great workshop to start with because it can be done with just a few tools. For more advanced mask makers, Annie shares some unique techniques for creating texture and contour that can be applied to other designs. It's a great one for all!

The coloring in the class creates a maple leaf, however the skills can be used to make masks that are more like oak leaves, a green man, or anything else you can imagine.

Annie Libertini began working with leather while in art school getting a degree in painting. She specializes in making masks and her work has been featured on television in Once Upon a Time, Z Nation, and Gotham, as well as in many photo shoots and theater productions.
