About This Video
Part history lesson, part leather craving workshop, this is the second in a series of workshops that we host examining the different styles of some of the masters and discussing what makes them each unique.
If you've ever made an embossed leather project, there's a good chance the legacy of Christine Stanley has influenced your work. Perhaps most well-known today for her Doodle pages, Stanley's "Endangered Species" pattern was a bestseller for many years. She popularized the technique of embossing with leather dust, which was later taken to new levels by her protégé, Robb Barr.
Join Jim Linnell and Michael Magnus as they explore the history, styles, and techniques of Christine Stanley.
This is a recording of a live, online class, so viewers benefit from both audience questions and workshop moderation.
