This pair of videos on drawing and carving Western floral designs were part of the Hide Crafter Leather video tutorial collection. Produced in the early 2000s, the first video with Chuck Smith shares some of the techniques he uses for creating floral designs. The second video tutorial with Chan Geer demonstrates the carving and theory behind Sheridan-style designs.
