About This Video
Award-winning leather artist Annie Libertini shares her techniques on wet molding leather utilizing a skull as the form. The leather molding skills learned in this class could be implemented on hundreds of different types of projects, however, a skull is a great project to learn on because of all of the different crevices and textures.
There is no pattern for this class, however, Annie demonstrates how to make the leather form to the unique skull that you have available. Hard plastic or plaster skulls are ideal since glass and styrofoam may not hold up as well to some of the pressure used in forming.
This is a recording of a live, online class, so viewers benefit from both audience questions and workshop moderation.
