About This Video
In this workshop, Jim Linnell creates a wallet panel as an interpretation of one of Bob Moline's Texas-style floral drawings to make them carving-friendly. He also reviews the tooling of these designs, discussing the why behind some of the methodologies he uses to convert patterns.
Bob Moline was a Texas artist and leatherworker who had deep ties to the region and to his Comanche heritage. We, unfortunately, lost Bob Moline earlier this year, so we are hosting this class in his memory to share his unique style of Western floral carving.
We hope you'll join us for this fun project, a little history, and celebrate the life of a fellow leather artist.
This is a recording of a live, online class, so viewers benefit from both audience questions and workshop moderation.
