The Roses for Texas fundraiser has been a wonderful success. The care and concern of leather workers has once again shown up in this effort. Through their participation in this class, we have been able to raise over $1750 in donations which will go toward providing relief to the victims of the hurricanes that have hit the USA. This donation will be presented to Rotary International at their weekly meeting in Burleson, Texas on September 26th. They will be ensuring that the funds collected end up going to those that need the help the most. I wish to thank each person that joined me in making this effort a success. When each of us give that little bit that we can, it cam add up to something meaningful to those in need.
