The popularity of “fur babies” has never been greater than it is today. In the next online class from Elktracks Studio, Jim Linnell explains the techniques used to create a portrait of our canine friends. 

Jim will begin by showing how you can create a tracing pattern from a favorite photo. He will also show you how to capture the personality of the subject in the carving steps. A good amount of the class will be spent on the wide variety of hair textures that makes each breed unique. 

Pet portraits can be big business so these are techniques that you may want to spend some time perfecting.
