About This Pattern

Award-winning leather artist Annie Libertini conducted an online class with Elktracks Studio, sharing the secrets and techniques she uses to create beautiful three dimensional horned owl masks from leather. This is the pattern that was used in the class.

Students of the class were extremely complimentary to Annie's skill, but also the quality of instruction, and how simple she made the process seem.

Annie Libertini began working with leather while in art school getting a degree in painting. She specializes in making masks and her work has been featured on television in Once Upon a Time, Z Nation, and Gotham, as well as in many photo shoots and theater productions.
