Extreme Embossing: White Tail Habitat by Robb Barr
About This Video
Warning: This project is not for the faint of heart and may very well be the most complex project currently in the Elktracks collection. The results are stunning, but this is definitely what we would consider an "advanced" class.
Originally produced by George Hurst in the 90s, this video tutorial with the late Robb Barr offers a full tutorial on how to create a full three-dimensional scene. The project is created from 4 different pieces of leather with the intention of being mounted in a shadow box. The video walks students through the entire process of carving, embossing, molding, assembling, and painting this White Tail Habitat.
The pattern provided is 8.5 x 11, however will need to be enlarged to roughly 170% if you intend to create the same size piece that Barr does in the video.
Originally offered across multiple videos, it has now been combined into a single workshop that has a very full three hours and ten minutes worth of instruction.
The price of the video includes a digital download of this workshop. If you would like to be mailed a USB with your video(s) on it, add a USB Flashdrive to your shopping cart. We use 32 GB drives, so one USB should be needed for your whole order if you purchase less than 8 videos, so add it only once.
Due to the size and length of these MP4 video files, it is not recommended to try to download them directly to a phone or tablet, particularly on an iOS operating system. Check out our FAQ Page for general download troubleshooting.
