About This Video
Every animal has unique details that can be a challenge to portray in a leather carving. This is the first in a two-part workshop hosted by Jim Linnell that walks through the contouring and detailing of this majestic mule deer.
In addition to demonstrating how to create hair textures, antler details, and life-like eyes, Jim also shares how to create the inverted pinecone carvings that are included as a detail in the pattern.
This is a recording of a live, online class, so viewers benefit from both audience questions and workshop moderation.
